Overview:
A three hour drive north of Nairobi takes to Ol pejeta conservancy right at the equator. This 90,000acres conservancy is one of the only wildlife protection areas that many endangered species call home.
Besides the Big five, over a thousand different mammals and bird species roam the wild. On a game viewing drive, you visit the largest black rhino sanctuary and learn about efforts made to conserve these endangered species. A visit to Ol pejeta is very rewarding as guests can enjoy many special activities not permitted in most Kenyan parks i.e. game walks, horseback, lion tracking, dog tracking, endangered species boma and chimpanzee sanctuary which is unique to this park.
