Lake Nakuru national park is a premier park and is a sanctuary to the great endangered white rhino and other wildlife including buffalo’s, lions and leopards. The park features the shallow alkaline lake Nakuru. The lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth. Myriads of fuchsia pink flamingo whose numbers are legion often feed on the abundant algae in the warm waters.
Lake Naivasha is the Rift valley’s highest lake and one of the few that is freshwater; with its clean waters providing a lovely setting for a boat ride across the lake. More than 400 species of bird reside here, as well as a large hippo population.
Masai Mara is famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, cheetahs and its annual migration of zebras and wildebeest. It is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary.
